Articles and resource lists for small business managers
12/7/1999
The Small Business Journal (TSBJ) online, the Web counterpart to a bimonthly print magazine, provides original articles and thoughtful resource lists for small business managers. The articles, written by practicing consultants and specialists, cover a range of topics from human resources and strategic planning to tax and legal issues. Most include contact information for further questions on the topic and sometimes even free resources from the author or from his/her company. Either jumpstart or steer clear of the discussion groups on the site as they are not yet being used for substantial conversation about business issues. The value of TSBJ online is its original content and its particular version of small business resources, covering items that other small business or entrepreneurship Web sites don't. One caveat--the site is fairly new and, as with all online magazines, time will tell whether it will be well maintained and just how its archive of articles and resources will develop.
