11/20/2000
The Internet Nonprofit Center, sponsored by the Seattle-based Evergreen State Society, has collected this extensive compendium of resources, tips, advice, and answers to questions on a wide range of topics of interest to nonprofit organizations. The information is drawn from two principal sources: Q&A from the newsgroup soc.org.nonprofit, its counterpart mailing list, and other nonprofit-focused online discussion venues; and resource files written by contributors with experience on a topic. The FAQ is organized into five main topicsOrganization, Management, Regulation, Resources, and Developmenteach with dozens of subtopics beneath them. Members of the nonprofit community are active in using the Web to communicate with one another; this guide brings their expertise together in a useful and well-organized form.
