Customers are always right, and here is how they let you know. This site from the MIT Sloan School of Management brings together some excellent research papers, student work, and code for gathering Web-based feedback from customers. The goal of these Web initiatives, obviously, is to speed up the time to market for product development and improvement. Take a look at the "Demos" section: It highlights interactive examples of information gathering for a variety of products. The "Methodologies" area has papers as well as demos that utilize a variety of different ways to process consumer data. (Ever heard of Fast Polyhedral Adaptive Conjoint Estimation?) All in all, the site is a great way to get some ideas to move along your product development cycle.
