Adapt or Die: Turning Your Supply Chain into an Adaptive Business Network

Developing an efficient and flexible supply network.
    4/7/2003
This book title sounds daunting, but the authors argue that the ability of your company to transform your supply network into an adaptive network may be just what your company needs to be profitable during changing market conditions. Heinrich, an SAP executive, and Betts, an IT consultant, share their expansive knowledge of the information technology industry and supply chain management. Using examples from the retail, manufacturing, and services industries, they say that their adaptive business network produces streamlined operations, enhances customer service, improves internal communication and increases revenue growth while lowering costs. As the title implies, those who don't keep their supply networks up-to-date with the ever-increasing pace of change may not survive.
