Each year Harvard Business School names its Alumni Achievement Award winners, a veritable who's who of leading lights in the business world.

This year's winners are Raymond V. Gilmartin (HBS MBA '68), chairman, President and CEO of Merck & Co., Inc.; Orin C. Smith (HBS MBA '67), president & CEO, Starbucks Coffee Company; Marjorie M. T. Yang (HBS MBA '76), chairman & CEO, The Esquel Group; and Egon P. S. Zehnder (HBS MBA '56), founding chairman, Egon Zehnder International.

"Throughout their careers, these distinguished graduates have contributed significantly to their companies and communities, while upholding the highest standards and values in everything they do," according to HBS Dean of Faculty, Kim Clark.
