Tips and advice from technical support practitioners

The Association of Support Professionals (ASP), a young and relatively small (800+ members) organization of technical support professionals based in the Boston area, has put together a selection of articles and report summaries on its Web site. The Library section includes ideas from tech support practitioners in such areas as General Management, Web Support, Customer Satisfaction, Human Resources, and Call Center Operations. Executive summaries in the Reports section are very brief, although the past year's Tech Support Salary Survey is available in full. ASP also sponsors annual awards for the Ten Best Web Support Sites; summaries of the winners and an explanation of the award criteria are available on the site.
