    Show me the [old] money.
    3/4/2002
Coin collecting has always been a popular pastime, but less known is that banknotes are highly collectible as well. Banknotes.com provides info on collectible paper currency from around the world. Beginning collectors will appreciate the primer on international grading standards for paper money. The links to international printers and mints are helpful for learning about currency from the folks who know it best. Consignment and appraisal services are offered as well. The World Currency Museum lists currencies by region and country and provides images of both sides of paper currency (did you know Canada had a 25 cent paper bill in 1900?). So dig out those old banknotes from your grandmother's trunk and take a closer look.
