Seeking "path-breaking positions that challenge conventional economic policy-making"
1/8/2001
The Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE) is an interdisciplinary research project focused on technology, industry, and U.S. competitiveness. Research is typically based on casework in specific industries and institutions, bringing to bear such wide-ranging disciplines as urban planning, political science, economics, and engineering to formulate "path-breaking positions that challenge conventional economic policy-making." Results of that research are available on the site in the form of working papers, newsletters, and other publications.
