This is an impressive, in-depth site on a narrow but important segment of the new economy: the marketing and advertising side of B2B e-commerce. A biweekly publication from Crain Communications (publisher of Advertising Age), it ably fills its niche, covering B2B news in advertising, business media, "direct & database," "netmarketing," and more. News is updated daily, and the site's archives go back 25 issues, making it easy to conduct research in these areas. Another of the site's strong points is Special Features, a section of B2B marketing lists. These include: "The BtoB 100," a ranking of B2B companies by advertising spending; "Best Strategists," profiles of movers and shakers in the industry; a directory of B2B vertical portals; and "The Net Marketing 200," a ranking of the best B2B Web sites by industry category.
