Question: Your boss, Ms. Alpha, enters the room when you're meeting with an important client, Mr. Beta. You rise and say, "Ms. Alpha, I'd like you to meet Mr. Beta, our client from San Diego." Is this introduction correct? If you've been to the business etiquette site designed by Harcourt College Publishers, you'd know the answer. (If not, check below). This site collects a number of articles, quizzes, and guidelines to provide you perfect manners in a business setting, locally or in the international arena. (Plus, you can find out why business etiquette is important anyway.) Answer: No. Introduce the more important person first. You should address your client and say "Mr. Beta, I'd like you to meet our Vice President of Development, Ms. Alpha."
