Catalyst

"Women in business" is the business of Catalyst, a Wall Street-based nonprofit research and advisory organization. Backed up by a board of directors and advisory board that include such management stars as Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Kraft Foods Executive VP Ann Fudge, and Avon CEO Andrea Jung, Catalyst's mission is twofold: "To enable professional women to achieve their maximum potential and help employers capitalize on the talents of their female employees." Much of the site is devoted to descriptions of the organization and its services, but check out "Facts About Working Women" for a good selection of statistics and fast facts about women's progress as leaders of corporate America. There are also summaries of Catalyst's groundbreaking research and a collection of useful links to other sites of interest to professional women.
