Country-by-country, practical guides to doing business abroad
11/30/1999
The U.S. State Department's Country Commercial Guides are prepared annually by U.S. embassies with the assistance of several government agencies. These reports, often more than 100 pages in length, aim to present "a comprehensive look at countries' commercial environments," covering economic and political trends, the investment climate, marketing, trade, project financing, and business travel. Appendices include U.S. contacts, local government contacts, trade shows, law firms, consultancies, banks, and research firms in each country. The guides are in Adobe Acrobat format.
