While faith in our federal institutions may be down, few have lost confidence in the Library of Congress to be a great source of information.
For businesses and business leaders looking for research or inspiration about e-commerce, the library's Business and Reference Services department provides a list of eighteen Web sites divided into handy categories: General Sources for Doing Business on the Internet; "Netiquette" for Doing Business on the Internet; Internet Business Directories; and Internet Services and Consultants for Businesses.
Certainly not comprehensive, the listings nevertheless are up to date and offer a wide range of information resources at an easy glance. We had never heard of the British site Free Pint (readers call themselves Free Pinters) until we saw it listed here, and have discovered it to be an excellent resource about doing research on the Web.
