6/10/2002
Surprisingly, the study of emotions in the workplace has generally been a neglected research pursuit. However, in the last two years academic researchers and organizational psychologists have made significant contributions to this field. Emotions In the Workplace: Understanding the Structure and Role of Emotions in Organizational Behavior is the latest offering to fill a gap in the literature. In presenting the conceptual framework, the authors explore many fields within psychology to offer an understanding of emotions in the context of work environment.
