As the separation of church and state appears to get blurrier in the United States, so too is the once largely inviolate separation of church and work. According to the PBS segment Religion and Ethics, which examines faith in the workplace, there are some 900 workplace ministries in the U.S., and the number is growing. But so too are complaints to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission from workers filing charges because of religious beliefs.
