Morgan Stanley analysts, led by chief economist Stephen Roach, offer daily commentary on the global economy in this section of the investment bank's Web site. Reports are focused on countries and regions, as well as on overall global markets, trends, and developments. Morgan isn't giving away the store — you must be a client to gain access to the more complete Client Link online service — but the reports here are timely and insightful. Filing from posts around the globe, the analysts focus heavily on fiscal and monetary policy — lots of talk of interest rates, taxes, budgets, and credit crunches — as well as on general political and social developments. The Forum also maintains a three-month archive of past Monday-to-Friday reports.
