Mark Hurst's Weblog on customer service
    6/25/2001

Weblogs—journal-like sites by individuals with lots of links—are said to be the true democratization of the Web. And now these information sources are moving into the business world. Mark Hurst is an Internet consultant whose focus is on improving the online customer experience—he even takes credit for popularlizing the term "customer experience." This site is an odd but compelling assortment: Learn how states made auto registration more interesting with suites of license plate designs; how airports work to improve service; and even how to get rid of pesky telemarketers and spammers. The real value in this site is apparent when it is used in true Weblog spirit—check it out every few days, be entertained, and hopefully learn something.
