Daily news and more on electronic recruiting
    2/22/2000
If you haven't used the Internet in some way in hiring for your organization, chances are you will, and this site can help get you started. If you're already involved, the Internet Business Network (IBN) can help you keep on top of developments in the field. Recruiting was one of the first industries to take full advantage of Web technology, and IBN has been covering its evolution since 1994. Electronic Recruiting News, available via the front page, tracks significant developments and provides useful rankings of the top electronic recruiters. The Recruiter's Toolkit is a kind of primer for the Net, offering tips for using search engines, discussion groups, mailing lists and other Web basics from a recruiting point of view, as well as recruitment-specific Web functions like resume databases and job postings. For an overview of electronic recruiting, see the Electronic Recruiting Index Executive Summary, a 16-page summary of an 800-page report on trends, strategy, market size and performance of key players in the industry.
