Merger Networks really isn't about mergers per se; it's a database of some 7,500 businesses looking to be acquired, everything from a Pakistani restaurant in Dallas-Forth Worth to a high-end day spa in New York. The listings are easily searchable—although you'll have to subscribe to get all the information you need to approach an owner. The service provides a brief overview of the business including a general description, location, asking price, and the like.
