Finance made simple: cool tools for managers
    6/18/2001

Finance skills a little rusty? Do you find yourself reaching for that dusty finance textbook to decipher the CFO's memos? MoneyChimp will let you brush up on your lackluster numbers knowledge and learn about concepts like modern portfolio theory and how to trace cash flow. The site offers a full toolbox of calculators covering topics such as stock and bond valuation and the time value of money. Some of the calculators include interactive graphs. The site also features a helpful finance glossary—but a search feature is sorely needed. Overall, MoneyChimp does a fine job of explaining complex financial concepts clearly and simply. You'll be second-guessing that CFO in no time.
