The National Commission on Entrepreneurship, made up of entrepreneurs and funded by the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, was created "to focus public policy on the role of entrepreneurship in the national economy and to articulate policies that will foster its continued growth." This Web site, a nice extension of their efforts, includes a collection of research reports (in PDF format) on such topics as "Building Companies, Building Communities: Entrepreneurs in the New Economy," "Employee Stock Options: Their Use and Policy Implications," and "Embracing Innovation: Entrepreneurship and American Economic Growth." There is also a biweekly newsletter with short summaries and analyses of various trends driving the New Economy and a "Policymakers Toolkit," offering stories about entrepreneurs, "fast facts," and regional roundups of entrepreneurial developments around the U.S.
