Entrepreneurs: VC and D.C.
2/25/2002
Formed to bring together entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the Washington, D.C. area, the Netpreneur Exchange is worth a visit for entrepreneurs from any location. Can't attend the monthly "Coffee and DoughNets" session? The site features transcripts and videos of the meetings, which are moderated discussions on such subjects as selecting a board, partnering with a giant, and product development. Entrepreneurs can also take advantage of advice on funding, advertising, and marketing, as well as dip into the "Research Desk," an excellent guide to other Web resources. Those located in D.C. or doing business there can sign up for or use the Netpreneur database of companies in the D.C. area. Newsletters and discussions are also available.
