    On Creativity, Innovation, and Renewal

The Drucker Foundation tackles creativity and renewal.
    5/20/2002
Part of the Leader to Leader Guide series from The Drucker Foundation, this work serves up essays and other works on creativity from such leading lights as Dorothy Leonard ("How Managers Can Spark Creativity"); Nigel Nicholson ("Gene Politics and the Natural Selection of Leaders"); John Seely Brown ("Sustaining the Ecology of Knowledge"); and Costas Markides ("The Challenge of Strategic Innovation"). We particularly liked the interview with Stephen Jay Gould, who throws cold water on those who would draw too fine a comparison between natural evolution and organizational evolution. Hmm—that could wipe out one wing of the local bookstore.
