It may not be the most glamorous of industries, but the packaging business is complex, technologically advanced, and full of innovation. Packworld.com is the online cousin of the magazine, and features in-depth news, features, and reviews written by staffers. (One recent headline: "Swanson spins out pop-top lid.") As you would expect from something called Packworld, this site is very well organized. Instant search drop-down menus in six sections give instant access to info. The site also boasts an excellent archive: over 10,000 articles published since 1994. Job listings, videos, conference schedules and other useful information abound. No registration is required, all content is free.
