Breezy compilation of corporate shame.

We all know the scandals, the Fastows, the Kozlowskis. What makes this book fun and educational to read is the evident glee with which the author collects all the sordid talesso farinto one sorry but entertaining package. Huffington, a newspaper columnist as well as the author of books from How to Overthrow the Government to biographies of Pablo Picasso and Maria Callas, only turns practical at the end here, when she outlines recommendations for stemming corporate malfeasance that others have already proposed: "Make bridging the Chinese Wall between research analysts and investment bankers illegal," "Treat stock options as the expenses they are," etc. What you won't find anywhere else are the amusing quizzes ("Match the CEO to the Mansion," "What's Another Word for 'Doublespeak'?") and the flair with which she builds a picture of runaway greed.
