Marketing topic overviews based on research, resources and practical tips

The Sales Marketing Network (SMN), a collection of sales and marketing "how-to and reference information," lays marketing topics and techniques on a solid framework of research, resources and practical tips. SMN's primer-like reports offer good grounding in such general areas as direct marketing, event marketing, teleservices, incentives, and promotions, as well as more specific subjects like sampling strategies, entertainment tie-ins, frequency marketing, cause-related marketing and more. These well-researched reports are filled with concise overviews, definitions, statistics, and reviews of critical issues and legal and regulatory matters, as well as references to additional resources (books, magazines, associations, etc.) and links to related material elsewhere on the SMN site. Registration is required to view the reports, but there's no cost.
