This book is a collection of twelve articles originally published in the MIT Sloan Management Review. The articles are divided into two parts, with the earliest from 1985 and the latest from 2001. Part I, Designing Global Strategies, focuses on developing a global strategy, with such topics as evaluating the pros and cons of doing business globally and developing a global pricing strategy. Part II, Building and Managing the Global Network, discusses the inevitable organizational challenges of pursuing a global strategy, including managing and negotiating across borders, building an effective global business team, and developing effective global leadership skills.
