Techsoup.org also provides recommendations on hardware, software, and training. And it hooks up nonprofits with consultants and strategists focused on the particular needs of nonprofits. The site serves up a tasty stew of original content and topic-oriented bulletin boards for sharing experiences and insights among the nonprofit community. The focus is squarely on community—there's even a place to share soup recipes (The Spicy Calabasa Soup sounds yummy.) The site has a relationship with CompuMentor, a clearinghouse for low-income communities in search of technology—and an interesting resource in its own right.
