Bennis, one of the bonafide management gurus and a professor at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, kicks off the book with twelve burning questions that leaders of the future need to resolve as best they can. Among them: Where are new leaders going to come from? (Many people would much rather "do" and "create," he points out, and believe management is beneath them.)
